Physical DescriptionA round pen/pencil holder covered in red, blue, green, and cream flower and leaf patterned fabric. The interior of the holder is lined with black, leather-like textured material, and the underside is lined with black felt. A white-headed straight pin is inserted into the top rim of the holder. There is no maker's mark.
Historical NoteThis pen/pencil holder is part of a four-piece set (MO 1990.7.7a-d) used on the desk in Eleanor Roosevelt's bedroom in her 74th Street apartment in New York City.
