The painting is adhered to a larger piece of silk gauze and mounted within a window mat.
b) A blue clamshell box with embossed gold text on the spine: “F. D. R. / CHINESE RICE PAPER PAINTINGS.” The box has been custom made to hold a collection of twenty-seven individual Chinese watercolor paintings (MO 1979.50.1-27) including the painting above.
