On the smaller body of water is a pair of traditional Chinese boats. Along the left shoreline is a three-story multi-eave style pagoda temple and are a series of hut-like buildings with a larger building at the back. Several figures are seen across the scene.

The painting is adhered to a larger piece of silk gauze and mounted within a window mat.
